Sir Richie Richardson, Former West Indies Cricket Captain & Current ICC Match Referee

Overnight on the 5th September 2017, the island of Barbuda was all but obliterated by Hurricane Irma. 95% of the island was wiped out – the hospital, schools, shops, homes all gone. Reports state that the island needs to raise close to $225 million to build again, and we are holding this fundraiser to do our bit to help the people of Barbuda rebuild their lives.

Midhurst, West Sussex

We are delighted to say that Sir Richie Richardson, former West Indies Cricket Captain, and other guest ‘Friends of Barbuda’ came to Midhurst on Thursday 5th July 2018 to host our inaugural ‘The Barbuda Cup’ at Cowdray Park Golf Club. Situated in the heart of the South Downs, this picturesque course was an exceptional venue to hold such an important fundraiser.

We were blessed with sunshine on the day, with temperatures nearing 80 degrees.  18 teams played and a further 80 people joined us for an informal BBQ.
